Geocortex Identity Server error - This Site is Restricted

Hello all,

I am using Geocortex 4.1.2 and the new Geocortex Identity Server for security and I am having troubles... I have three (3) sites in 4.1.2 and all use security, but as soon as I turn off the "Anonymous Access - Guest" permission, and I verify and turn on the permissions for my roles that have users assigned, I get the error as follows...

Access Denied

 

!  This site is restricted.

 

2 buttons (Show/Hide Details and View Log)

 

One of the sites is set to deploy with training tomorrow but I have to get this security issue figured out.

If someone can please assist with what is not working properly

  Hi Thomas,

  Why not to try the following scenario:

  Create a role, say R1

   

  Create users (say u1, u2, u3) that belong to R1

   

  In the provider window, uncheck all except the “Geocortex Identity Server”

   

  In the permission window, choose the R1. GET the site icon to be green.

  Try to access the application with u1. Do you still have the same issue?
