CSS for Startup Workflow?
I want to have a popup appear when a user first enters a viewer. This is for a public facing audience, so I want to it be more than just black and white. I want images, colorful text, etc. Baically it is providing some simple instructions for where to begin using the viewer.
I know how to have css for the home panel and how to make modifications to other parts of the viewer, but how would one customize a single popup, whether it is from a workflow or not? It would be a one time deal, per launch.
thanks,
Ryan

Hi Ryan,
Is this something that having the home panel open and showing formatted content by default would help with?
It might be difficult to get the result you want with a browser alert or workflow based alert. One thing you can do is host an image in a workflow form and show that as modal. A custom view might be suited for the job better.

I second the option of having an image in a Workflow form. The image can be as complex (and colourful!) as needed, and can contain text as well. If shown in a Workflow form in a modal window ("ModalWindow" or "ModalWindowNoCloseButton" region), that Workflow can be configured to automatically launch on startup.
Note that if you use ModalWindowNoCloseButton, you'll need to ensure you've also got a button at the bottom of the Workflow form so the user can actually close it. Any button clicked in the form will hide the form (and image).

Thanks for the replies. I think using an image will work just fine. I'll have to work on increasing the dpi probably, just to sharpen it up.
