Transparency Slider Bug - 4.2.2
I finding that having layers all embedded in folders (groups) disables the transparency slider in HTML5. Anyone else come across this? Latitude, are you aware of this for the 4.3 release? The workaround has been two move at least one layer outside of a group, underneath Operational Layers. See graphic below.

I've seen similar behavior when trying to use layers from the same map service in different folders. The transparency sliders disappear unless I put everything from a map service in the same folder, which defeats the purpose of using folders to control map service layer transparency options.

From Latitude:
" This issue was previously reported as GVH-5376 and has now been fixed. The fix will be released in GE 4.3/GVH 2.4."

Apparently this is still a bug. Still doesn't work in GVH 2.4. In my case, I'm using multiple map services in a single folder.

In the image above, The Parks and Open space folder contains folder contains two layers from different map services. Park Labels is coming from a different map service than the Parks and Open Space layer. I have the labels in a different service so all of my site's labels will interact with each other as you toggle different labels on and off.
I tried setting up groups using all layers from the same map service too, but the transparency slider doesn't appear then either.

Hello John,
The original issue that Ryan mentioned has been fixed in GVH 2.4.The case that you are suggesting is not currently possible. Sliders should appear when all layers of a map service are contained within the same folder. Even if a single layer is outside the folder, the slider will not be displayed.
As an alternative configuration, if you have all of the layers from one service in one folder, then put layers from another map service in the second folder, the slider should appear.
Transparency sliders for individual feature layers is currently filed as a feature request.
I hope this helps, Stefan

Hello John,
I add one more case. If there is a main folder that has two subfolders, all layers of a map service are contained within the two subfolder, the transparency slider appear in the main folder. Note: if the main folder has a layer that is from different map service. the transparency slider will not appear in the main folder.

I have seemingly lost my transparency slider as well.
I have a folder that only contains layers from one map service, so I don't think that's solely the issue.
