HTML 2.4 / 3RD PARTY MAPS
I added the button on the toolbar but it does not activate in the viewer. Also, the ShowExternalComponentView commad is not availble in the commands list used in configuring buttons.
Anyone has tested this yet?
Thank you

Hi Dane,
It's possible to have a 3rd party map stay in sync with the Essentials viewer, which will sync both extent and zoom scale. To accomplish this for bing maps, you would need to edit the BingMaps.html page, and update ThirdPartyMap to add the sync parameter as true as follows:var thirdPartyMap = new geocortex.essentialsHtmlViewer.integration.ThirdPartyMap("bingMaps", initializeMap, getMapViewpointParams, handleViewerPositionUpdatedEvent, handleViewpointIndicatorUpdatedEvent<b>, true</b>);0 -
I'm having an issue with the 3rd Party Maps not being active on one computer. This function has been active and working on our internal site for months now and just came across a specific computer that has the button grayed out. What would cause this to occur? 0 -
Hi Sara,
Is that specific computer running IE8? 3rd Party Maps aren't supported by that browser and could be causing the button to be grayed out. If not, is the viewer giving any errors in the debug log when the viewer loads?
Thanks,Cody

Shouldn't be on IE8. I will check the logs when I can. It's my director's computer so it isn't easily accessible most of the time! Thanks Cody 0
