Google Chrome asks to install the Silverlight despite the fact it’s already installed on the machine

I couldn’t figure out why Google chrome still ask to install the Silverlight despite the fact that the latest version of Silverlight was installed on the machine, even after install it my application doesn’t start, is it a new problem with google chrome or what .

  NPAPI, which Silverlight uses, was disabled in Chrome v42. Instructions to re-enable are (http://support.panopto.com/documentation/admin-and-setup/troubleshooting/enabling-silverlight-plugin-npapi-plugins-chrome) here .
