RestManager Blank Screen after First-Time Installation of 4.3.0 on a new PC
Hi All,
I just did a wipe and reinstall on my PC. I tried installing the latest versions of Essentials and the viewers to make it a test box. After finishing the First-Time Installation instructions I get a blank screen when trying to access the Geocortex Essentials Manager. I thought I followed all the instructions, but something isn't quite right. Any ideas on what I need to change in the settings? I also tried installing a previous version, and got the same results...

Thanks for your response. I did try Fiddler, and it just gave me an HTTP 500 error. Do you have any thoughts on what might be causing that error?

It's MS Windows Version 6.1 (Build 7601: Service Pack 1). Internet Information Services (Version 7.5.7600.16385).

Hello Becky,
We believe that this has actually occured to several of our clients. If you can confirm that the browser window loads with a 500.21 error. you may be able to fix this by running the command in a command window:
From this location: C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v4.0.30319\
Run: aspnet_regiis -i

Great, I'm glad to hear that it worked.
We are looking into ways to detect when we need to run this command during install. It might only be necessary for particular environments as it seems to be affecting older versions of Windows.0
