Sort Search Results
Is there any way to set the order of results from a Global Search or Identify?

Sean,
Viewer for HTML5 does not currently support sorting Global Search or Identify results. An enhancement request has been added to our wishlist for product improvements with issue number GVH-4839 . However, it has not been prioritized or scheduled for future development as of yet. I have added you to the list of stakeholders so you are notified when this gets implemented.

Please add me to the list also. This is a very important capability for making our Geocortex sites easier to use. 0 -
I'd like to be added as well, please! 0 -

There's an idea for this (https://support.geocortex.com/essentialsGSCIdeasDetail?c=09a6000000008RsAAI&id=087600000004MejAAE&categ=&sub-nav=ideas&main-nav=essentials) here . Note that the issue associated with the idea is GVH-7237, which is for sorting of results from any search, query, or identify operation. GVH-4839 that Alejandro mentioned previously is specific to search results. 0 -
I would like to be added onto the original issue number (GVH-4839) if it still exists. As I am seeing it, the sort order within a particular feature class search results is still by ObjectID. Very unhelpful from a user or adminstrator standpoint. Id love to be able to set the sort fields within a feature class so I can determine the sort my end users will see when a search Result list is particularly long.
If there is another more relevant issue number that supercedes GVH-4839, then add me to that one instead please. This issue is a bit of a headache for my users and it really turns them off of what is otherwise a very useful and powerful Search Tool.0 -

I don't think sorts by objectid either. The geocortex results does not match my feature class objects sorted by objectid. 0 -
