Open Geocrtex silverlight viewer everyday (slow to open for first time)

Hello All,

I have noticed that my geocortex silverlight viewer gets delay to open for the first time, which takes around 30-40 sec. But later gets quicly to open 3-5 sec. Anyone has facing the same? Any configuration need to be adjusted or this is a normal habit due to cache or something else?

  I have the same issue with Geocortex Mangager.  Takes forever initially then speeds up later.

  Hello Jeff and Yasser,

   

  In the case of the Silverlight Viewer, you are seeing the effect of caching. There is a large number of requests made initially for viewer resources, backing data bases/links, services within the site, and others, that cause a slow load time. I can't speak to any specific changes that improve the load time apart from always using the latest version of GVS and browsers, if possible, and improving the performance of machines that host ArcGIS Server services, again if possible.

  For Manager, the first load time requires the overhead of signing in, contacting Core services, loading sites, and many others. Once loaded, subsequent load times should be much better due to caching.
