Site Doesn't Show in Site LIst

Essentials 4.3  HTML5 2.4

I copied a Site folder into my Essentials site folder, but the Site doesn't appear in my Site list for the instance in question.  I've never had to do anything before to make a Site appear other than copy its folder to the new instance.

Have I missed something new?

  Hi Sean,

  I would open the site.xml file and make sure the ID on the second line of the xml file -

  <Site xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" DisplayName="LA County" ID="LA_County" Version="4.3.0">

  matches the folder name of the site (the folder the site.xml file is stored in).  You should not have to do anything esle.  If it still is not working I would clear your cache and try again.

  Thanks.  We just created a new site with the same name as the old one and then copied the folder from Dev to Test which, I'm sure, accomplished the same thing.  Not sure how the Site ID got messed up in the first place, but . . . . all better now.
