Remove the Timestamp from Date Fields
For some (unknown to me) reason all date fields insert a timestamp behind the date. Well, it is confusing and very annoying for the end-user so, I am looking for a way to get rid of the timestamp.

Hi Svetla,
You can change the format your date field displays with in Essentials Manager. Navigate to the layer from the Map tab and go to the Field section. There you can add the date field and edit it. From the edit field view you can choose which format you wish to display the date in.
I believe the default is set to whatever it is stored at in your database, but you can filter out the timestamp through this or set up a custom way to display the data.

Hi Cory,
Is this available in GCX 4.4.2? I don't see the drop down option when I add my date field._img_ alt="User-added image" src="https://latitudegeo--c.na53.content.force.com/servlet/rtaImage?eid=90760000000TUN0&feoid=Body&refid=0EM60000000Lzvi" _/_img_

No, sorry, you won't find this feature in 4.4.2. The ability to format fields was added in Geocortex Essentials 4.5. 0
