Can GPS track be captured and saved somehow?

I'm trying to figure out if it's possible to save a tracked GPS line, either directly to a feature service or in the app and extracted?

  Did anyone get an answer to this question?  Now that you can create new point-based features in a feature layer by using geolocation in GVH 2.5, is it possible to do the same for a tracking as a polyline feature layer?
