how do i get the mapserviceid from geocortex site?

I see that many useful commands in workflow have an input argument of mapserviceid.  is there an activity that would return the mapserviceid based on the mapservice name or the mapservice layer name?

as different admins build sites, the mapserviceid changes from  site to site, this causes an issue if you are using mapserviceid as a variable in a workflow.

  I've always supplied the mapserviceid as an argument when the workflow is registered with the site. This provides the most flexibility without having to change the workflow itself.

  As for an activity that returns the mapserviceid, I don't think I've ever come across an activity that would do this.
