Triggers and Editing Workflows

I was hoping to have the users login ID pass from an editing workflow to the respective attribute in a feature class supported by SQL Server 2014.  I have looked at forums in regards to using triggers but due to the fact that the data is being passed trhough a Feature Service I haven't had any success.

I easily added a trigger for date and time the record was inserted/updated easily via SQL Server T-SQL, but this User Login name gets a lot more hairy then a simple trigger from what I can tell.  Any thoughts from the T-SQL side or Geocortex Workflow side?  I don't want the user to have to "pick thier name" I want this to be all seemless behind the scenes.
