How to change security URL for secured viewers - GVH 2.4 & GVS 2.4 (Essentials 4.3)

I have a secure site in our public.dmz. There is no anonomous access so the user is automatically asked to log-on. The problem is, when the viewer initials it uses the URL I entered but then is redirected to a new URL (below) that uses the servername.public.dmz. Which is fine inside our network but will not work outside. 

http://<server name>.public.dmz/Geocortex/Essentials/REST/security/callback/windows/SKMlBZgm5IxUmIJlG8IxLsAQAA-4lHT_T2vkar-A1JdOqq9AAA_D16uMCUU3KX-Mc8bvvXyWjl/

Can anyone tell me where to find the config. file or what ever file this URL lives in?

  The Essentials Callback URL can be edited on the Security Settings page.
