Geocoding issue in 4.3.1 and GVH 2.3.1

I was using global search to geocode using a ArcGIS Geocoding service on our in-house ArcGIS Server.

In Essential 4.3.1 and GVH 2.3.1, I had turn layer search on for atleast one layer in a map service for global search to successfully geocode using the geocoding services added to the site. If no layer in a map service had global search turned on, geocoding does not happen. So for example, if I had just a image service as a basemap layer and no map services in my site, geocoding using global search does not work.

I did not see this behavior in Essentials 4.2.1 + GVH 2.3.3.

If others see the same issue, please respond and also let latitude know about it.
