    Hi Joshua,

I am trying to replicate this issue in my environment to find a fix, but I have so far not been able to recreate the issue. I have a couple of questions that might lead to easier replication steps:

    1. Did you upgrade an existing viewer/essentials to GVH 2.5 GE 4.4 and if so what versions were you upgrading from.

    2. What Device and Operating System are you using with GMAF 1.3

    3. Could you see any errors in the developer console, to open the console in GMAF press f12.

Thanks, hopefully we can get this issue solved soon.

    Hi again Joshua,

I actually had another person in the office experience this issue today and it was due to having multiple essentials instance on the same machine, but only 1 version of the HTML5 viewer deployed to IIS. As it is completely reasonable to use 1 GVH instance shared between multiple instances of GE on the same machine this poses a problem when performing the download to your device from the available viewers page.

When performing the download we look at the templates.xml file stored at C:\Program Files (x86)\Latitude Geographics\Geocortex Essentials\<GE_Instance_name>\REST Elements\Sites\Templates\Templates.xml and use the information stored there so we know the url to our viewer (which allows us generate and download a viewerpackage for offline use).

What seems to be occurring is that for the second instance of Geocortex Essentials installed, we don't deploy our Geocortex Viewer for HTML5 to IIS (as it has already been deployed). When you perform the deployment of the Viewer to IIS it also populates the template.xml file with the data we need to generate the viewerpackage. Since we don't deploy the viewer to IIS with our second instance of Geocortex Essentials, that template file is never populated with the data we need and then problems arise when we try to download the viewer from the available viewers page to our device.

To fix this, you just need to take the templates.xml file stored within your first instance of Geocortex Essentials and copy it to your second Instance of Geocortex Essentials (so that both templates.xml files are identical)

Hopefully this solves the issue, if this isn't the problem you are experiencing let me know and I can look into it further for you!
