    Hi John,

Yes. Only the Silverlight Viewer is able to hide reports with the visibility turned off. The following is an excerpt from pg 267 of the Geocortex Essentials 4.4 Administator Guide.

    HTML5 Viewer:

As of HTML5 Viewer 2.5, users can now run reports from a link in a map tip, or an option from the Panel Actions menu of the results list or results table. For more information, see "Reporting Module" in the Geocortex Viewer for HTML5 Administrator and Developer Guide. 1. In Geocortex Workflow Designer, create a workflow that runs the report. You may want to model your workflow after one of the RunWorkflow workflows that ship with the LA County sample site. By default, the sample site's workflows are here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Latitude Geographics\Geocortex Essentials\Default\REST Elements\Sample Sites\LA_County\Resources\Workflows. 2. In Manager, add an I Want To menu item, tool, or hyperlink that users can click to run the workflow.   Silverlight Viewer: 1. In Manager, add the Reports tool to the toolbar. 2. If you want to prevent the Reports tool from listing a particular report, edit the report and clear the Visible setting. The Reports tool allows users to choose from a list of all the site's reports

Any plans to enable that option for the GVH too now that there's a default reporting tool in it? It'll be a pain to have to remove that command from every viewer I upgrade or build in 2.5

Run Report from maptips throws an uninformative error for one of my workflows, and I can't remember how to get more error detail. Am I going to have to remove ListReports from a dozen places in each json file on each site if I want to disable this, or is there a "master switch"?

Should've started a new thread. (https://support.geocortex.com/SupportForums/Thread.aspx?thread=59025&mid=2&pageid=0&ItemID=9&pagenumber=1#post165114) Here it is .

@John. Turns out this might have been an oversight, either way this has been submitted as a bug (GVH-7226 ) and our developers will be reviewing it soon.

Please add me to the list for this bug. (Now that the other problem has been resolved...) I need to be able to hide reports for the HTML5 viewer.

@ Heather. Yes you were also added as a stakeholder.

    Hi Lukman

please add me as another stakeholder. Users certainly don't need to view sub-reports that only really make sense in the context of the main report. My use case is having the subreports available  via the REST end point for the site so that I can make use of the reports for other purposes but I do not want those reports to show in the HTML5 viewer.

    Thanks

    Ralph
