Data Frame Results: how to activate a specific one?
I'm using the (http://support.geocortex.com/parcel-selection-buffering-and-report-workflow) Complete Parcel Selection, Buffering, and Report Workflow , which works flawlessly for me in SLV, but while it also works in GVH5, it does so with some annoying characteristics. I'm hoping for some help to sort them out:
1. The selection tool icons are misordered. Can they be forced to appear in a specific sequence? I like the order in SLV.
2. The selection dot on the map is just an unfilled circle. In SLV it's filled. Can this be corrected in GVH5?
3. a) After selecting a parcel and clicking OK, despite that the workflow view's tab is visible in the Container Region, the Results List "Parcel Selection (1)" tab gets focus for 2-10 seconds until the workflow tab (visible since clicking OK) finally gets focus. This delay makes it is easy for a user to think nothing is happening, during which time they might click the parcel result, thereby stopping the workflow. In doing so, the workflow's tab is still visible, but when clicking it, it's empty except for a "Step 1: Select Parcels" heading. So the workflow ends prematurely there.
3. b) After buffering, the same 2-10 second delay occurs, during which time the Results List of parcels found by the buffer task is displayed before Step 4: Run Report appears. It's very tempting for a user to click one before that and inadvertently end the workflow.
3. c) After running a report, the same 2-10 second delay occurs again before Report Complete appears.
For each of item 3, is there a way to prevent the Container Region from shifting its focus to the Results List view? It strikes me that the workflow tab will not gain focus until the current task is fully executed. When clicking on it before it comes up on its own, I can see it render over several seconds. Is there some way to force the workflow's tab to grab focus immediately rather than waiting for it to be fully rendered? I expect that's the reason the results list appears temporararily. How can I correct this?
Thank you for your attention to this. I would very much appreciate some help. I'm trying to get away from the SLV.
Best regards,
Justin
