Identify tool

Not sure if anyone asked this kind of question before.

Few of our clients asked if it is possible to have a identify tool in Geocortex Viewer (HTML 5) similar to  Google maps, Arcgis On-line web apps  or any other mapping application. 

 

In Geocortex, user has to select the identify tool first and then click on the map or any feature to retrieve the information.

Where as in Google/bing  maps or even Arcgis Online web apps,  there is no need of selecting identify tool. Just a left click will return some information from the visible layers.

Is it possible to replicate similar functionality in GE? (or it is already available?).
