Progress indicator still doesn't stop after results are retreived - GVH 2.5, GE 4.4

@Latitude - Is there any plan to fix this in the near future? In case it makes a difference, my site uses instant search. I type in a search term, get the result I expect, click on it, the result shows up in the results panel... but the progress indicator keeps on going and going and going. Is there something I can do to resolve this now or is it a bug?

  Hi Rebecca,

  Does the progress indicator ever go away? When you perform the search it does the search first with the instant search, but if you have other search providers (Global Search) enabled it will also continue to search using those providers.

  A test you could do is disable all Global Search via the Layer List in Essentials Manager and perform the search. With no Global Search available only the instant search should be used and the progress bar should disappear almost instantly.

  Hi Cory,

   

  If I disable Global Search for the layer I don't get any search results at all.  I was under the impression that Global Search had to be enabled in order for instant search to work. This isn't happening in all my sites that use instant search. Only one (link below). But they all have Global Search enabled.
