Self Hosted Pictometry Online - anyone integrated with this in HTML viewer?
We have POL-SH -- meaning all our images are served from our server which works differently that accessing PIctometry's server. We cannot just use the Pictometry example in the documentation (unless someone can show me how). It isn't the same API as Pictometry Online version.
For our silverlight viewer, we have a workflow where the user clicks ont he screen and the workflow essentially opens a URl that passes the x,y coordinate to the Pictometry server to open the app at that location. Works great in Silverlight. The workflow stops in HTML at the "run external command" to run "Navigate to URI" command.
Anyone else out there using POL-SH and have it working with HTML Viewer?
Thanks,
Carmen

I finally searched the correct key words and found this post under Workflow Forum:

I tried using "OpenWebPage" in my workflow. At least in the first couple of tests, this at least provides the users a similar experience using the Pictometry in the HTML Viewer as with the Silverlight Viewer. Performing tests on multiple devices to make sure.
It would be nice to use it in the new 3rd party integration but I do not think it is easily possible without a lot of coding (which would be fun to figure out, but time is lacking). I found out from Pictometry that they will soon NOT be supporting self-hosted POL so we may have to move to the Pictometry service anyway (then we could utilize the 3rd party integration module).
Interesting - "NavigateToUri" was listed under the "Shell Command" section in Silverlight Viewer Admin guide but in HTML Viewer guide, "OpenWebPage" is in "Region and View Commands" section.
I had looked in the Shell command section of HTML Viewer guide and saw nothing helpful so I originally thought there wasn't an "equivalent". I realize that I am probably not understanding why they are in different sections, but my search would have been easier if the two had been in a similar section!
