Upgraded to 4.4 Essentials Sites do NOTHING when clicked

Hello All,

I have finally had success in upgrading :)  NOW I have a new problem.  When I click on any of my sites, it looks like it is loading and then the screen changes, or so you think, and it goes back to the page that shows all of my sites, it does not take me to the site I selected.  I have cleared my cache. I am using IE 11.  I also stopped and started my IIS as that is usually the culprit, but it didn't fix this issue.  SO if anyone has an idea, I would love to hear it.

  OK simple fix.

  I noticed that my original URL to my rest manager only had my server name and then the rest of the URL Geocortex/Essentials/RestManager/

  example: 

  This is the original Essentials Rest Manager URL - http://ServerName /Geocortex/Essentials/RestManager/ 

  The new Essentials Rest Manager URL - http://ServerName.Domain.local /Geocortex/Essentials/RestManager/

  1. I re-ran the post install configuration.
  2. Clicked on 'Configure Geocortex Essentials Manager'
  3. Beside 'Select Web Site:' I clicked on the 'Hosts . . .' button
  4. I saw that I had two hosts.
     1. ServerName
     2. ServerName.Domain.local
  5. So I deleted the second host and clicked finish.  
  6. Once it went through to completion, I stopped and started IIS again
  7. and just to be sure all was well I stopped and started Geocortex Core Service from Task Manager.
  8. I then Opened Essentials and it worked!!!

  P.S. I recommend making a document with screenshots when you install new software OR do an update, as you go, as you will suffer the same issues again when you do another update!  Also very helpful when needing help as all your steps are there for proof of what you did do and what you perhaps missed doing.
