How to add a password protected map service

I tried adding a password protected map service to my GeoCortex Essentials site, but got the message, "No results found.", even though I can connect to the service and see the layers in ArcCatalog. The service is password protected, but there is no GUI or input fields for me to add the password under "Add Map Service" in GeoCortex Essentials. How do I do this? Thanks.

  What kind of AGS server authentification are you using? IF it is AGS token based, you need to add the user name and password to the connection page in Geocortex "Add Map Service" (you can leave the token option blank).

  Currently, when you click on "Add Map Service" in Essentials Manager the "Add Map Service" dialog appears on the "Search" tab. This allows you to search for unsecured map/image/feature services only. To add secured services you must use the "Service Connections" tab and add your map service with the appropriate security.
