    Hello Allen,

Sorry for the trouble that you had. I loaded my test site on an iPhone iOS 7 and iOS8 successfully, the issue doesn't occur. Is it possible to have your site that we can verify and debug with?

    Thanks

    Long

    Good Morning Allen, Longguang:

My HTML5 2.5 Sites will load in Safari, but basemaps failed when a basemap group was configured. Initially, my site had a basemap folder with four options, two of which were aerial imagery layers in a basemap group. Choosing the aerial imagery should have made a slider appear to transition between the two sets of aerial imagery. On Safari, turning on one of the aerial imagery layer brings up a non-functional slider, and the aerial imagery layers don't load.

    Here's an example

    Thanks Longquang -

    Here's our site:  https://maps2.tucsonaz.gov/Html5Viewer/?viewer=maptucson

Jody - thanks for your info, seems like basemap-slider may ocassionally trip up an IOS.  Our map does try and load - we get the splash screen, so it's finding the site ok, just not liking how we have things configured.

We have 2 basemap groups set up to work with the slider:  3 cached/tiled basemaps, and 3 cached/tiled Aerial photos (2011,2012,2014).

    Allen

    Hi Long -

It seems like it's an issue with Safari as a whole, not limited to iphones.

Is there an ETA for v. 2.5.1?

    Thanks -

    Allen

We don't currently have a firm ETA on the 2.5.1 release. I anticipate we'll be able to make it available in October, but we're still finalizing the plan, so that's a preliminary estimate.

    Cheers,

    Jordan

Update (Sept. 25): We are targeting the end of October for a 2.5.1 release.

Worked around by applying and saving the site with a different basemap on by default.

Then reverting back to the original basemap.
