Copying toolbar json from one viewer to another
I have a toolbar config that I copy from one viewer to another by copying from one Desktop.json.js file to another, which works great from the viewer standpoint. However, I've noticed that Rest Manager doesn't appear to pick up on the change. It still shows the default toolbar config, even though the toolbar config I copied to the viewer file is there and all of the tools work as expected in my viewer.
Not a big deal from the perspective that my viewer works like I want it to, but I could see it being a pain if I wanted to update my toolbar and had to do it through my viewer config files since Rest Manager isn't picking up on the change.

Do you copy both the config and the preview file? 0 -
I had just copied the main file. I tried copying the toolbar to the preview file too, but that didn't change anything in Rest Manager. 0 -
Did anyone ever sort this issue out? I just copied my TabbedToolbar module from one config file to another and the toolbar works in the viewer, but doesn't show up in Rest Manager. 0 -
I haven't tried it in a long time, Sean, but if that's the behavior you're still seeing them I'm guessing the issue is still there. 0 -
Did you reload the site (from the main Manager page where all your sites are listed) after you made the change? Possibly it's still got the old version cached? 0 -
Yes. Reloaded site in Manage, cleared cache in the browser, still no new toolbar. 0 -
What if you remove the Preview.json.js file(s)? 0 -
Renamed the preview json file. Reloaded the site. Opened Manager to the Viewer config. Was forced to Save the site to continue. Still no new toolbar. 0
