Access Search Table from a secured site?

A workflow is trying to access a search table that is now secured (Issuer="AD AUTHORITY") resulting in the following error shown in the image below.

If I navigate to the rest site:

 

http://<servername>/Geocortex/Essentials/413/REST/sites/<site>

 

I'm given the following statement: "The current user cannot access the desired resource."

 

If I click the "Sign In" (Guest) on the top right, I'm then provided access to the site as would be seen if it was not secured.

 

What steps are required to allow the workflow to access the Search Table?

  I was able to get this to work by removing the token from my form activity.
