Default Map Scale - HTML5

I have the default map scale set to "current extent" for our site. 

 

Our Silverlight Viewer honors this selection, but in the HTML5 viewer it reverts back to Current Scale. 

 

Is anybody else experiencing this?

 

We are using SV2.4 and HTML5 2.5 with Essentials 4.4.1
