Gray out a button based on a variable?

Is there a way to gray out a button only for certain cirmcumstances? For example, can a button be grayed out if the user is at a certain IP address or a under a certain user name? Thanks in advance.

  Hi Mike,

   

  If you are referring to workflows and the Display Form activity there may be a new feature that will help you.  The "Group" component has a "Visible When" property that will allow you to enter logic to determine if the group and the components within the group will show.  Using an activity like "get current user" you could set a boolen variable prior to the display form that would determine if the group was visible or not.

   

  This is a new feature of Essentials 4.4.
