When there are features selected click just unselect the features and map tip does not display

I want to display map tip for selected features by clicking on one of them.  however all the selected features became unselected.  is there a way to fix this?

  It depends on how you're selecting the features. If you're selecting them using the search bar or identify tools, then you can change the command for ResultsListFeatureClickedBehavior from ShowFeatureDetails to ShowMapTip in your viewer's config file.
