close map tip window in workflow

I'd like to add a step in workflow to close the maptip window.  so far I have not found out a way to do it.  Any ideas?

  If you're using the GVH, you can use a Run External Command activity with the Command Name "DeactivateView" and the Command Parameter "MapTipView".

  Hi John,

   

  I did try using the baove command after HideAllMaptips, but it doesnt seem to work. I am using Silverlight Viewer for our application. We delete a record and the result window goes blank. Temporaray the maptip does disappear for a while but in case we pan over map or close the result window,it reappears with default highlight color cyan blue color.

   

  Please advise.

  A lot of commands aren't interchangeable between the HTML5 and Silverlight Viewers, and I'm guessing this is one of them. The best thing I can suggest is to look at the list of commands in the SL viewer documentation and see if there's one for closing the map tip window.
