What is the Geocortex Application Services 2\...\msg_store_persistent folder
I have a folder F:\Geocortex Application Services 2\Data\MessageQueue\RabbitMQ\db\rabbit@HOWBIP27-mnesia\msg_store_persistent that is taking up a lot of space on the server. I have not configured any instant searches, so I'm wondering what is in this folder. The files are all .rdq

I would also like to know what these files mean, as its taking huge amounts of space. As Scott above, we are not using instant search in any of our viewers. 0 -
Hello Thijs,
Older versions of Essentials used RabbitMQ for message queuing. These queues should be transient, meaning that they get recreated when GAS2 starts. You should be able to stop the GAS2 service and remove those files.
That being said, my recommendation would be to move them to a temporary folder first, then start GAS2 and see if there are any issues. If there are not, you can delete them permanently.
That being said, for a long term fix, I'd suggest looking at upgrading to a more modern version of Essentials. GAS2 based Essentials instances are quite old at this point :)
I hope this helps!
Thanks,

Hi Daniel,
Our customer isn't using GAS2 as he is using essentials 4.5.1. (which uses the Core Framework).
Now instant search is not working because of that. Now instant search is turned off, but our customer would like to have that option available.0
