Query layer on viewer startup - Map not displaying in Handheld mode.

The "Query layer on viewer startup" workflow is working in desktop mode but in handheld mode the tabular results are returned but the map is not displayed.   Has anyone encountered this problem and if so how did you resolve this issue?   HTML5 2.4.1.   Thanks!
