Grey out button?

I have a toggle button that turns on/off a layer that is scale dependent. Is there any way to grey out the toggle button when the layer is not visible? I'm using GE 4.4.2 and GVH 2.5.2

  Does this button run the RunWorkflowByID command? If so, no. You would need to create the buttons command implementation and have a canExecute method that returns if the layer is visible or not.
