Will current versions of GVS and GVH work on Microsoft's Edge browser for Windows 10?

Hi Paul,
GVH is supported in Edge (as per the Installation Guide) but Microsoft is not supporting Silverlight in Edge, IE11 would need to be used on Windows 10 (or Firefox).

We are currently experiencing an issue with our map sites in Microsoft Edge browsers.
Whenever the map zooms to a location via a workflow, the map becomes blurry. It won’t fix itself until you pan around on the map or click on it.
I’ve tried adding a Refresh Map piece at the end of the each workflow, but this did not help.
Now I’m trying to find a way to add logic at the end of each workflow that will pan the map service 1-pixel just to prevent the blurring.
Is this a bug, and is anyone else experiencing this issue? Any help would be appreciated! -Laura0 -
Hi Geocortex, can anyone help with my original question above?
We are still experiencing this issue and outside users are starting to report it more as they upgrade their PC's.
I've tried adding logic to the workflow at the end, for it to pan 1-pixel or even 100-pixels and still no success.
Thank You -Laura0 -
To reproduce this issue you can:
1. Open the Microsoft Edge Browser (not IE Edge - but the new browser called Microsoft Edge)
2. Go to: http://oneaddress.fortworthtexas.gov/
3. Enter an address such as 1000 THROCKMORTON ST
4. Look at the map in the far right panel
FYI It works in every other browser with no issues, just Microsoft Edge.0 -
Hi Laura,
It's usually better to ask a new question, and link to the old one if you're having issues, that way more people will see it :)
For your issue, I'm curious whether you see the same issue if you open the viewer directly rather than in (what I am assuming is) an iframe.
Can you please give that a shot and let me know if it works?
Thanks!

The map works outside of the main website as normal. It's embedded into the website using an "Object" tag, not an iFrame. Screenshot below.

Since we never received further feedback we have opened a support case with Geocortex. This has become a bigger issue now that more and more people in our organization (and citizens) have updgraded to Windows10 with Edge as their default browser. Will provide feedback to everyone if we figure it out. 0
