I have this same question.  Were you able to find out?

    Thanks

    Krystal,

I know at the time that question was somehow important, but we have since moved on.  So, the short answer is no, I did not find out anything from Latitude regarding that question.

Since Geocortex (Latitude) is really tightly integrated with Esri, I don't see them making a huge effort to make sure their tools work with open source data types.  This is no grand surprise, but it would be nice (hint, hint any of you Latitude software engineers out there).  I would assume that Latitude has their hands full with just trying to keep up with Esri and all the changes going on in that realm.

We experimented with some open source data through geoserver and had some difficulty making that work with Geocortex, but we eventually made it go.  Everything that works is WMS and not WFS.

Also, my systems engineer said he tried to get Latitude to comment on support for WFS and got no response from them.  He did do some testing/experimention and said that things did not work as expected with WFS.  He eventually found out that Geocortex was treating WFS much like a WMS.  Obviously, at some point we just gave up and went in another direction (back to Esri for editing).

    I hope that helps,

    Michael
