How do I expose the url of a place in my map, ie via the geometry of the feature
Hi all, does anyone know if it's possible to expose/get a url for a specific place on a map viewer? For example, if there is a url list of park names throughout a city, and someone wanted to click on say "Washington Park", is it possible to have that, when clicked, zoom onto that feature within the map? I need to somehow pull that exposed geometry result via a URL. Similar to a bookmark, but have the actual URL.
Thanks for any help!!

Jason, is your list of park names on a page separate from the viewer or is the list in the side panel?
If the former, you can use the Code Gallery sample for querying a feature on startup. See that sample here:

If from the side panel I, too, would like ideas for implementing something similar.0 -
Easiest way is to create a search workflow with an input parameter(s). So create a workflow called "FindPark" and pass in the Park Name. Query and zoom to. I have a similar workflow for querying parcels. Here is an example link.
