Parcel report with related table values
I need to create a parcel report that includes related table information. I also need to deal with one-to-many relationships when it comes to multi unit properties like strata developments. Does anyone have experience creating this type of report?

Rebecca, how are your relationships stored, in a data link, Esri relationship, or are you going to querying during the report generation from another database? 0 -
I believe everything is related via ESRI relationships in sde. 0 -
So you cannot use Esri relationships in reporting. What you will need to do is create a data connection and data link. Then in the Data Link, uncheck visible. This will still be available to the reporting. Call the Data Link into a subreport. 0 -
I'll give it a shot. Thanks Tom! I've never set up a report or sub report so this should be interesting! Any suggestions for resources for report beginners? 0 -
Not something easily explained here. But for subreports you will want to set the ReportName property to the Data Link ID and the Tag property to your subreport name. I have posted a Parcel Report (http://maperture.digitaldataservices.com/samples/ParcelReport.zip) that uses a subreport to show all accounts associated with a parcel. 0 -
We need this feautre to be included in the G.E without workarounds, is there any plans do do this in the near future ?
Thanks

I am pretty sure this can be done using "Search Tables" with the related data without using a subreport. 0 -
Rebecca...how did this go? Any tips? Working on a similar issue. A one to many relationship with a lot of photos. 0 -
Latitude is developing a workflow for us to do this right now. I'm still waiting on the result but expect I should have it later this week. I'll re-post once I've got it up and running. Tom also posted a sample above (which I didn't try) that uses subreports that may be useful to you. 0 -
William, how would Search Tables help in this case? I've used them to make it possible to search in one-to-many related tables, but never in a report... 0 -
I'd like to know about using Search Tables too, William. Thanks for the suggestion. 0 -
Here is the workflow I used the search tables in...
It was for generating a letter to residents after you "select parcels" There was some user input that creates a temp table to insert typed data and then pulled the datalinked tables in.
