Why does this Geometry Service URL work in my browser, but not in Essentials Manager?

Essentials 4.4.3  HTML5 2.5.2

 

I can resolve this Geometry Service URL in my browser:

 

http://www.austintexas.gov/gis/rest/Geometry/GeometryServer/

 

But it will not validate in the Geometry Service configuration screen in Essentials Manager.  What am I missing?

  Sean,

   

  That service is secured with token security (look at the top right corner of the REST endpoint web page - there are login / get token links).  The geometry services are listed but none are accessible unless you login or provide a token.  It's easier to see this if you request the REST endpoint in JSON format (i.e. put f=json on the end of the url) - you will see there is only a description - no services.
