Query error happened in first try for a user session

I got this error from the query task in a workflow:

 

 

The strange thing is that this error only happened during the first time using this workflow in one session.  I clicked this workflow again and everything started to work. If i refreshed website and the error would come back. Then it worked again.

 

There are other two workflows with the same problem.  If one works others will be ok too.  The error message i posted above did not give any specific cause of the error.

  Hi, did you find a solution to this issue as I am facing the same issue. It is really inconsistant behavior as it sometimes gives error while other times it is working fine. Please help.

  I do not remember the details.  It has something to do with servers, web server, AG server, and geocortex server, etc.  can you try to restart them all?

  Thanks Yinghong for the quick response. I tried to check the ArcGIS Server Logs and there are a couple of errors specific to accessing MSD. The error message is 'Error performing query operation Error handling service request :0x80070057 - Can not open file -------.msd. The system cannot find the file specified. Probable cause: The file is inaccessible to Server. in 'esriCarto.MapServer''. I did check that proper secuity access is given to the service account and that is the reason the error is not consistant. Googling and geonet forums could not help either. 

   

  These are the production servers and can't touch them in the working hours so will plan the reboot in the after hours or probably on weekend and let you know if it resolved the issue. Thanks once again.
