How do I fix error thrown in HTML5: Unable to complete operation. Invalid layer ID specified.

Anyone else getting them? How can I fix this. All my layers seem fine and in my site manager.

I'm getting invalid ID errors for some of my code since the 4.4 version of GE and 2.5.2 html5 viewer. I'm sitting here all like "WHYYYYY???". So yeah hope and answer pops up. 0 -
I'm also getting this error.
Anyone come up with a reason?0 -
Hi Everyone,
This seems to be coming from the maptextprovider. Though I don't know exactly why (I would need more details on recreation steps), if you are not using the maptextprovider functionality you can just turn it off to get rid of the errors.
You can turn that provider off in the configuration json file for the viewer, Ex: <C:\Program Files (x86)\Latitude Geographics\Geocortex Essentials\Default\REST Elements\Sites\<site_name>\Viewers\<viewer_name>\VirtualDirectory\Resources\Config\Default\Destop.json.js> for the desktop config.
Search for "MapTextProvider" and there should be an "isEnabled" property. Setting that to false will turn off the MapTextProvider and should get rid of that error.
The MapTextProvider is used for our (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Web_Content_Accessibility_Guidelines) WCAG support, so it isn't critical if you don't need that support.
If it continue to be a problem or if you do need the WCAG suppor let me know, it might be best to set up a call with our support team to dig deeper into the issue.

We're at GE4.9 and GVH2.10.1 and still had this issue. following Cory's advise the error has gone now. Thanks. 0
