WIndows users in GE Permissions - domain issue

We are able to implement windows user and group level security successfuly.  However there is one annoyance we are encountering. 

 

Our organization is a city government, and we have many domains (central, police, etc.).  When searching for a user or group account to apply security to, the drop down list is populating with accounts/groups from domains we don't want.  You can enter the full user name with domain (username@central.organization.gov, for example) and it is valid, but these doesn't appear in the drop down as you type, and if you search by full name (first + last), the domain we want to use doesn't show up.

 

I'm thinking this may be a setting on the server hosting GE, but am wondering how to change the settings so GE is reading the correct domain.
