Hide view by default in Handheld shell

Hi All

 

When I open up one of our sites in a handheld. An empty toolbar region opens by default and obscured 2/3rds of the map. I cant find anyway of disabling it, so that the full map extent is visible on opening.

Was hoping that someone might have some thought as to where in the Handheld.json this might be?

  Just to add... It seems to be a 'MiscViewContainerRegion' that is opening by default. but I cant find out how, where or why.
