Allow users to turn labels on and off?

I am trying to give users the capability to toggle layer labels on and off. I've published the map service with Dynamic Layers enabled, confirmed that the 'Support Dynamic Layers' option in the Map Service Details is true and that the layer "Has Labels: true" in the ArcGIS Rest Services Directory. However, when launching the map in the viewer, I dont see anywhere that allows the users to turn labels on or off...am I missing a step somewhere?

  The ability for a user to toggle labels on and off isnt available in the current version of HTML5 (2.6.1).  However the future road map does suggest the it will be available in the next release...September maybe??

   

  Our interim solution has been to add an extra "Label Layer" for those particular layers that require the ability to toggle layers on and off. Not elegant, but it will do until Latitude make this feature available

  We're using the same workaround and have found it to be superior to toggling individual layer labels. Publishing all of the labels in the same map service means they all interact with each other (i.e. they won't overlap as you turn their related layers on). It's certainly a little extra work, but we think the improved label interaction and display is worth it.
