Instant Search not returning complete results

Hi there.  We're trying to set up instant search in an HTML5 viewer (2.6.1).  We've not been able to get a complete list of results for the following scenario:

 

We're searching string fields which contains letters, numbers and "-"s. 

 

The user types "mlg" and then hits enter.  Data from several layers are returned, all of them incomplete.  For example, a transmission line layer should return two lines - HAY-MLG-A and HAY-MLG-B.  We are only getting HAY-MLG-A.  If the user user types mlg-b and hits enter only then will HAY-MLG-B get returned.

 

The example above works using global search with the instant search disabled.

 

We have tried disabling instant search and re-enabling it, deleting the index and reindexing and the indexing process says it has finished.

  Hi Beth-Anne,

   

  This is a known issue, and will be fixed in Essentials 4.6 with Core 3.0.  The tracking number is CORE-1143.
