Trace Downstream Network through Workflows

Hi,

 

I have Essentials 4.5 and Silverlight 5.1 application installed on my machine.

 

As a part of my requirement I am looking for a Tool availabilty for Downstream Tracing of Network through Customized Workflows in the above installed version of Geocortex Essentials.

 

Is it possible to create and write our own Workflow for ArcFM downstream trace, where input is a feature and returns a selection of the downstream features.  

 

Please advise.

  Hi Rahul,

   

  If you are looking to create a tool for downstream or upstream tracing, you create a workflow using the exisiting activities to read the To and From columns in the attribute table to extract all the features you want. 

   

  Otherwise, to simply the workflow, you can publish a geoprocessing service that inputs a feature and returns a selection of downstream features. Then you can reference that GP service in the workflow using the Geoprocessor activity.
