Layer List Data Frame opening after I use "CloseDataFrame" command

I built a workflow that allows users to Create/Edit and add attributes to a polygon feature. At the end of the Workflow, I save the edits to ArcGIS server and refresh the map. After that, I wrote an External Command (using command:"CloseDataFrame") that closes the Layer List Panel. This command works and indeed closes the Layer List Data Frame. But after it closes, It re-opens again.

 

Is there something in my config.json that is opening the Layer List Data Frame again?

 

Also, I have the Open By Default unchecked in the Data Frame section in the Look and Feel in GE Manager. So the Layer List Panel doesnt even open on Startup.

  Hi David,

   

  This is a known issue, the bug number is GVH-3913. When you've used a DisplayForm activity with the "Default" workflow container name before a CloseDataFrame command, the frame will reopen automatically at the end of the workflow. It has not yet been resolved so I will add you as a stakeholder to the issue.

  I would also be added as stakeholder.

   

  As a workaround, I've adde a Run External Command activity to run the DeactivateView command, with "LayerListView" as parameter.
