If "Show Label" in GE for layer is unchecked, all layers in that service do not draw in viewer...yet still identifiable

Hi all,

 

For one of our map services, if the "Show Label" for a layer is checked off in the details tab then all the layers' symbols in that map service do not draw when zoomed to the scale that they labels are supposed to turn on. However, the layers can still be selected with the identified tool.  They just cannot be seen on the map.

 

If you are zoomed out beyond the minimum scale of the labels, then the symbols will draw in the viewer...unless you zoom into a scale that the labels would show and zoom back out past their minimum extent, then the symbols will not draw.  

 

Other map services do not have this issue but they have the same service configurations and permissions.

 

Any ideas??

  Hey Jordan,

   

  No our map services are not publically accessible.

   

  I am happy to set up a call/webex though to show someone the issue.

  Updated info: I upgraded to GE 4.6.1 this morning and the issue still exists.
