Now Available: Geocortex Analytics 1.1
Geocortex Analytics 1.1 is now available, and the biggest news is that you can set it up on your own through a new configuration management interface!
Here are a few things to know before getting started:
- Geocortex Analytics is a companion product to Geocortex Essentials, and helps you gain the immediate value of knowing how your users are using your apps and services. Determine ROI, optimize what you've built, and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
- Want to migrate data you've already collected with Geocortex Insight? During your Geocortex Analytics 1.1 installation you can decide to take the time to move it all over, get going quickly by starting fresh, or save a bit of time by defining a set of data (i.e. 1 month, 3 months, 6 months).
- Geocortex Analytics is a web GIS product, and takes full advantage of ArcGIS identities' familiar user management system to implement access control. Unsure about your organization's entitlements, or not using ArcGIS Online or Portal for ArcGIS, yet? (http://go.geocortex.com/analytics-launch) We can help .
- Every GIS environment is different: your securities, proxies, firewalls, browser versions, Geocortex technology and ArcGIS technology are all factors to consider. Some environments are ready to go right away, and some may need further configuration.

Does this mean that Geocortex Analytics 1.1 requires ArcGIS Online account or Portal for ArcGIS?

Geocortex Analytics 1.1 does require an ArcGIS Identity for use; it is not possible to run the applicaiton without the account. Let me know if you have any quesitons, and I can connect you with AAM and/or Esri Australia as required. Regards, Peter 0
