Pictometry API Key

Pictometry integration functionality has been provided as a native capability in Geocortex Viewer for HTML5 version 2.4 (and newer) and we have version 2.5.  Do we still need to get an API key from the Pictometry organisation though?  I am following the instructions in the Viewer Admin and Dev Guide.  When I try to use the API key provided by Latitude in the Pictometry.aspx I get an error about the wrong key.  There is a note that this key is only valid on localhost.  The viewer is not accessed by typing localhost in the URL but by using the domain name.  Hence do I need to follow the instructions in Step 3 about configuring cross-domain access?  (I have tried following Step 3 but this didn't help.)

  Hi Mark, 

  The API Key that was released with 2.5 in the Pictometry.aspx was actually released inadvertently. We have since disabled that key from working, which is why you aren't able to get it to function.

  You do need your own API key to use the pictometry extension within the 3rd party maps view. Hopefully once you obtain one your issues will be sorted. If not let me know and we can look further into it.
