Query NULL values

I saw this question out there a few times, but did not find a solution.  How do you query null values in HTML viewer?

  Hi Shana, 

   

  If you want to query for NULL values in a column, then you will need to input the following in the WHERE clause of the Query Task:  "columnName is NULL" I hope this helps.

  Sorry, Carmen.  I should have been more clear in my question.  Our users are trying to use the out of the box Query tool and there is no option for selecting or typing in IS NULL

  In that case, no. Unfortunately you cannot search for NULL values using the built in Filter and Query Tools. To get around that, you can use the "!=" in multiple conditions to rule out all the other values but that would take a long time to set up. Your other option would be to create your own custom workflow that will search for NULL values. 

   

  At this point, I suggest adding this to the Ideas board located here (https://support.geocortex.com/GSCIdeas?c=09a6000000008RsAAI&filter=1&categ=all&sub-nav=ideas&main-nav=essentials&page=1)  so the developers can look into adding it to a future release.
